Design Studio Internship
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Studio Intern to join our team in Santa Fe, New Mexico for the Summer 2026 season.
Interns will support both creative and operational studio work while gaining hands-on experience and a comprehensive understanding of how a professional interior design firm operates.

About the Internship
Responsibilities:
Provide daily support to the interior design team on multiple projects, from concept through installation
Assist with office management tasks, including inventory and organization of samples and materials.
Attend team meetings to learn about the structure, workflow, and culture of a busy interior design studio.
Support marketing initiatives, including social media content creation and scheduling across multiple platforms.
Assist with photoshoot preparation: organizing reference imagery, managing props, logging product arrivals, and coordinating returns.
Collaborate with the design team on tasks related to design development, including research, drafting, and presentation support.
qualifications:
Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, an Interior Design, Architecture, or related program.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a creative environment.
Interest in high-end residential and boutique commercial interior design.
Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable supporting both creative and operational studio tasks.
Experience with Adobe programs including Photoshop, InDesign as well as AutoCAD.
Experience with Google Workspace including Google Sheets and Drive.

Compensation & Logistics
Interns must have secure housing for the duration of the internship. In addition, interns must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, as they may be required to run local errands with their personal car. Some out of state travel may be required during the internship period with expenses paid by French & French Interiors. This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of $17/hr.
