About the Project
Located in Fredericksburg, The Jewel Box is our interpretation of a media and guest room that balances boldness with intimacy, layered with rich color and thoughtful detail. Designed as part of the House Beautiful Whole Home project, this space was imagined as a retreat where family and friends could slow down, connect, and feel enveloped in comfort. Deep jewel tones, dramatic textures, and sculptural lighting create a cocoon-like atmosphere that invites both conversation and quiet moments. Every element—from the custom perforated grilles to the hidden trundle bed—is designed to surprise and delight while keeping the room versatile and functional. This project reflects what we love most about interiors: creating spaces that are as beautiful as they are meaningful, where every detail contributes to a sense of belonging and joy.
